Saddle up to join in popular charity cycle ride

Keen cyclists are invited to saddle up for the Slapton Wheeler.

Sunday, July 3, will see 200 people from across the Chilterns take to their saddles for the popular cycle event.

The practised and proficient will tackle the classic, hilly, long route of 101 miles. Alternatively, this year there is a new 62-mile route.

There will also be a 13-mile family fun ride.

This year’s rides have been organised by Slapton Wheelers Cycling Club, in partnership with the Chilterns MS Centre.

The event will start in Slapton with registration in the village hall and ample parking next to Bury Farm Equestrian Centre.

Money raised by the event will help the Chilterns MS Centre continue to care for 330 people a week, by providing physio, oxygen, hydro, complementary and occupational therapy.
