Rush hour delays after white van, trailer and the car it was towing overturn on M1
Rush hour drivers faced delays after a white van overturned on the M1 this morning – along with the car it was towing on a trailer behind it.
Police were called to the area where it happened – just past the northbound Junction 9 turn-off for the A5 and Redbourn – at about 8.05am.
Spokesman Giles Cooper said nobody was injured and officers left within 15 minutes of their arrival. The motorway was not closed while the area was cleared.
The car being towed was a blue Toyota Avensis.
