Retrospective planning permission is granted for three back garden homes that did not match up to original plans

Three new homes on the same plot of land have been granted retrospective planning permission.

Fresh planning applications for one two bed and one three bedroom semi detached bungalow and a four bedroom detached home had to be submitted after the buildings failed to fall in line with previously granted planning permission.

The properties have already been build in the rear and side gardens of Athelstan Road, Hemel Hempstead.

They were granted planning permission subject to conditions, along with another retrospective application for a single storey rear extension to the original house, during a meeting of Dacorum Borough Council’s Development Control Committee last Thursday (July 30).
