Activities at Maitland Joseph House included a 1966-themed quiz and a performance of hits from the 1960s by musician Richie Milton.

Jeanette’s Jewels were the winning quiz team, captained by Jeanette Peters, who claims her agile mind is helped by her agile body.

At 90 years old, Jeanette still practises yoga regularly despite fracturing her hip recently.

Elisa Davis, aged 92, said “The celebration has been lovely.

“I’ve lived here for over three years now and I am very happy here.”
