Go purple this week and help raise funds for The Hospice of St Francis.
The hospice is asking residents to Go Purple on Friday, October 9, to show their support during Hospice Care Week.
You can wear something purple, hold a coffee morning and just be creative with your purple-themed fundraising activities.
Many local retailers, business and schools have also pledged to support the event including Marios in Berkhamsted who are creating a purple ice cream, Berkhamsted Balloons who are selling purple balloon creations and the Attic Café who will be making a special Hospice cake. Schools including Westbrook Hay, Westfield First School, Cavendish Sixth Form and Boxmoor Primary are also holding purple dress down days. Text PURP01 £2 to 70070 to donate
