Team coach Mike was joined by fellow MPs including Conservatives Alec Shelbrook, David Burrowes and Nigel Adams and the SNP’s Angus MacNeil and Chris Law.

The competition, which took place in the beautiful setting of Westminster Abbey’s College Gardens, raised about £150,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support through corporate sponsorship.

Macmillan funds nurses and other specialist health care professionals and builds cancer care centres.

Mike said:“This is one of the highlights of my year and I am absolutely delighted that the Commons won for the eighth year in a row.

“It was a lively and fun evening in a beautiful location.

“Whilst it is an entertaining event, it is in aid of a serious cause. Macmillan Cancer Support does great work and it is fantastic to be able to support them in this way.”
