Police still on hunt for wanted man after burglaries in Berkhamsted and Hemel Hemsptead

Police are re-appealing to members of the public to help trace a man who is wanted.

Luke Butler, who is 26, and of no fixed address, is wanted in connection with two burglaries and on recall to prison. He has links to the Hemel Hempstead area.

He is wanted in connection with a burglary at Porters restaurant in High Street, Berkhamsted. At around 1.20am on Wednesday, February 15, offenders gained entry to the restaurant and tampered with the cash register before leaving on foot along Boxwell Lane. Nothing was taken from inside the restaurant.

He is also wanted in connection with a burglary at APE Vaping in Hemel Hempstead. Between 6pm on Monday, March 6 and 6.30am the following day, an offender smashed the front window of the store in Queensway and once inside took the money from the till before making off.

Anyone who sees Luke or knows of his whereabouts is asked to contact Hertfordshire Constabulary via the non-emergency number 101 straight away.
