Police release e-fit after burglary in Hemel Hempstead

Police are releasing an E-fit image of a man they would like to speak with in connection with a burglary in Hemel Hempstead.

The incident occurred in Claymore between 9am and 10.30am when the offender gained access to the property through an open window.

He was disturbed by the victim and ran from the scene out of the back of the property taking items of jewellery.

The offender was wearing a black beanie hat and black jacket.

DC Richard Bagworth is investigating and said: “I would appeal to anyone who recognises the man shown in the E-fit to please contact police.

“I am also keen to hear from anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area that morning or who saw a man running from the scene.”
