Police hunt for vandals after car is smashed up
Police are searching for witnesses after a car had its rear windscreen smashed in broad daylight.
The incident occurred in Northchurch Common between 5.45pm and just after 6pm on Sunday, May 15.
The rear windscreen of a Peugeot 106 was smashed before the offenders made off. Nothing was taken.
PC Mark Procter, who is investigating, said: “A member of the public reportedly saw two people leaving the scene in a blue car.
“So far we have not been able to identify this lady and I am keen to trace her as she may be able to assist with our enquiries into the incident.
“If this was you, please get in touch with us on the non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference D2/16/429.”
