Nine-year-old Kassie Bannister – who has become an online sensation since posting a Youtube video of her covering Adele’s Skyfall in 2013 – has channeled her inner Disney princess for yet another internet hit.

Taking inspiration from Queen Elsa in the Disney animated hit Frozen, Kassie has belted out a unique version of Idina Menzel’s Let It Go – with a special effects-laden pop video to match.

Alan, who lives in Berkhamsted, helped create the high-tech Frozen-inspired video to do justice to Kassie’s powerful voice.

He said: “We know the song is very popular among little girls – they all love singing it – but Kassie gives such a different slant to it. She has such a powerful voice for a young kid. She’s such a natural performer, even in front of the camera.”

The family duo’s joint effort has also been posted to Youtube, where it received almost 500 views in just its first two days on the site.

Her mum Sarah said: “She really does love the whole thing. She’s singing all the time – she never stops.

“She is a child when you talk to her, but when she’s performing she is completely different. We are very lucky we have people in her family that can help her make these videos, and she will keep doing it until she stops enjoying it.”

Talented Kassie won the accolade of Performer Of The Year for 2014 from her Hemel Hempstead-based performing arts school, and is auditioning for West End roles.

The mini songstress said: “I really enjoyed doing Let It Go. I wanted to be like Elsa and I really liked dressing up – we bought the dress and my nan sewed a cape onto it.

“I have had lots of really good comments about it. I like seeing all the views go up – it’s quite amazing to see how many people have watched my videos.

“Let It Go will probably be my biggest one, because lots of people enjoy the song.”
