Pets Need Places: Shy Serena and afflicted Obi need loving owners to help them through

Meet the delightful dogs and cute cats searching for a home in Dacorum. Serena is approximately 18 months old and will need an experienced cat owner as she is very shy and nervous, but is not aggressive in any way.  Once she learns to trust, she may be a wonderful companion but needs time with no demands made on her to progress.  Please could someone find it in their heart to give this forgotten kitten a chance of a forever home?

Obi can't see or hear well, but he still needs love

Obi is a crossbreed of retriever size and is aged eight to 10. He has been blind for a long time, possibly from birth or as result of an injury when he was a younger dog. He also has limited hearing.  However, Obi has an excellent nose and has no problem moving around in familiar spaces.  He is happy to sleep for the greatest part of the day and is generally quiet and undemanding, although he will raid any available rubbish bins.

Obi is slowly learning to trust people and thanks to the hard work, dedication and patience of kennel staff at Chiltern Dog Rescue, and he is beginning to enjoy going out to explore safe places outside and he will follow a treat.

For anyone thinking of adopting him Obi is hoping for that one in a million person who can give him the things he needs and will not be put off by all the problems he faces.

Obi is building relationships with the people he interacts with most closely at the rescue centre and enjoys being brushed and having his tummy rubbed and tickled.
