Petrol theft wave rears its ugly head in town again

Officers would like to speak to the man pictured in connection with the offences, which took place at several petrol stations in the town between Sunday, June 22 and Wednesday, August 20.

The filling stations affected were at the Tesco Extra in Jarman Way, Sainsbury’s Apsley Mills and Texaco on Redbourn Road.

The crimewave follows an ongoing series of thefts directly from the fuel tanks of vehicles within the last year.
