A new dance thriller that opened at London’s Old Vic theatre on Friday not only features three former students of Tring Park Performing Arts School in starring roles, but is also choreographed by a former pupil.

Jekyll & Hyde, which runs until Saturday at the famous London venue, is devised, directed and choreographed by Olivier Award-winning former Tring Park student Drew McOnie.

Jekyll & Hyde has been commissioned by The Old Vic as part of its new dance collaboration with The McOnie Company.

In the excitingly physical new dance production, with music by Grant Olding, Drew reimagines Robert Louis Stevenson’s sinister drama, The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde.

Taking the lead role in the show is Tring Park alumnus Tim Hodges as Mr Hyde.

Carrie Taylor Johnson, also from Tring Park, dances the part of Rose.

And talented young dancer Joao Carolino, who plays Robert in the show, is a recent graduate of Tring Park Educational.
