Woman taken to hospital after medical episode in Berkhamsted

A woman was taken to hospital via air ambulance yesterday (Monday) morning after experiencing a medical episode in Berkhamsted.

The East Anglian Air Ambulance Anglia Two team from Cambridge was sent to Berkhamsted at 9.32am on Monday to attend a medical emergency.

Police were called by the ambulance service at around 9.30am, to request assistance at the scene of a medical episode in Berkhamsted High Street.

A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Police said: "Officers attended and put road closures in place while paramedics treated the patient at the scene, before she was taken to hospital via air ambulance."
