Police in Dacorum have launched an operation targeting vehicle related crime after feedback through the force's community voice platform.

Following feedback on echo, local officers will be conducting road checks targeting any criminals using the roads and those using vehicles to cause anti social behaviour and nuisance.

Local Safer Neighbourhood Sergeant James Bessant said: "The intention of these operations is to reduce and disrupt the level of vehicle related crime and anti social behaviour locally.

"We want to make Dacorum an unattractive place for those who choose to come here to commit crime.

"We will seize those vehicles driven for criminal purposes or causing a nuisance where appropriate."
