Police were called at around 6.50am this morning (Friday) to report concerns for the welfare of a man outside Bellgate shops in Hemel Hempstead.

It was reported that he was shouting aggressively to himself and holding a screwdriver.

A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Police said: "Officers attended and located the man, who had since moved away from the area.

"No screwdriver was found and the man was let on his way with words of advice.

"No one was injured during the incident and no offences were disclosed."
