IN PICTURES: Celebrating the unsung heroes across Hemel Hempstead, Tring and Berkhamsted

This month The Gazette will be saying a Big Thank You to those who have made a difference across Hemel Hempstead, Tring and Berkhamsted during the coronavirus pandemic.

We asked our readers to share photos of any unsung heroes. We received nominations of some amazing unsung heroes, including foodbank volunteers at DENS who have helped distribute food parcels to over 1,000 people in Dacorum, schools who sent kind messages to residents in a care home, volunteers from The Youth Booth who have been keeping in touch with the young people they help, a man who returned a walking stick to a Berkhamsted woman after it was accidentally taken to the tip, and a number of local businesses who have been supporting the community during the coronavirus pandemic. You can still nominate an unsung hero - they could be anyone, a business that has gone the extra mile, key workers, the NHS or people who have a made difference in the community. We’ll publish these photos online and in a special Big Thank You supplement in the newspaper. You can send the photos and details to [email protected].
