Motorcyclist taken to hospital after collision in Hemel Hempstead

A motorcyclist was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a collision in Hemel Hempstead yesterday evening (Tuesday).

Police were called at around 5.20pm following a road traffic collision in Cambrian Way.

A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Police said: "It was reported that a motorcycle and a car had collided near Tesco.

"Officers attended, alongside the ambulance service and the rider of the motorcycle was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

"The car and the motorcycle were recovered. The scene was clear by 7pm."
