How many knitted postbox toppers have you seen in Hemel Hempstead?

Will you spot them all? Where will Jemima Puddle-Duck be hiding? Will the Very Hungry Caterpillar be munching near you?

Postboxes around Hemel Hempstead have been adorned with a knitted topper, each one based around a well-loved children's story or nursery rhyme, thanks to Hemel's very own Yarn Bomb group. Hemel’s very own Yarn Bomb group have created a knitted postbox topper trail based on children’s books and nursery rhymes. The toppers also have a QR code attached so people can donate to the Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity if they wish. The charity helps and empowers seriously ill children, helping them to face life’s toughest challenges with the support of Specialist Children’s Roald Dahl Nurses. There are now 19 toppers, split over three trails and each one has a fun quiz. So far, a number of the toppers have been spotted by residents. Have you spotted all of them? You can share your photos with the Hemel Gazette, by emailing [email protected].
