Councillor Tim Hutchings, Cabinet Member for Public Health and Prevention, said: “Our environment and society has changed dramatically over the last few decades and we recognise that it can be challenging for families to maintain a healthy weight.

“We need to do all we can to support families and therefore are pleased to announce that we will be expanding our family healthy weight service from September 2020, offering information and resources to anyone who would find it useful, as well as support for those who need it.”

The Beezee Bodies team of behaviour change experts and nutritionists will provide free support to help families develop healthier lives by helping them learn to cook healthy family meals together, try new foods and enjoy fun activities to get everyone moving.

Beezee Bodies Chief Executive Officer, Stu King, said: “We pride ourselves on being agile, so right now we’re focused on how we can support families in Hertfordshire to stay healthy through the COVID crisis.

“Our support is relevant to what is going on nationally and what people need locally, so when we move into the next phase and begin to come out of lockdown, our support will evolve to reflect that.”

During the Covid-19 crisis, a BeeZee Live service is available, streaming lifestyle advice straight to your home. To find out more, visit www.beezeebodies.com, or call 01707 248648.
