He said: "I will be wild camping most of the way. I suspect it will take me three to four weeks but that's not set in stone.

"I will be supporting Sunnyside Rural Trust, a fantastic charity who do great work for people with disabilities. It's also in memory of my cousins brother-in-law who had dealings with the charity.

"Sunnyside have done fantastic work not just for Ashley but many, many young people who suffer with a disability.

"I understand that times are hard, especially this close after Xmas, but even a small amount can make a difference and help reach the target together as a community."

Sunnyside Rural Trust supports young people and adults with learning disabilities by offering training and employment opportunities within a social enterprise setting.

Ashley's brother said: "They are an amazing charity and I don't think they always get the recognition they deserve.

"What they did for Ashley, who had learning difficulties, was amazing, it gave him freedom.

"They would come and collect him, and done daily activities with him and then brought him back.

"It really helped him to get out and do things he really enjoyed doing.

"They are a great charity, and anyone that can support Josh with his challenge will help to make a big difference to lots of people through the charity."
