Hemel Hempstead neighbours scoop lottery windfall

The winners chose to remain anonymous but prize will soon land in their bank accounts.

Four Hemel Hempstead neighbours are celebrating landing a cash prize of £30,000 each thanks to their postcode.

The Longman Court residents scooped the windfall when HP3 9RS was announced as a winner with People’s Postcode Lottery on Saturday 5th September.

Matt Johnson, TV presenter and People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador, congratulated the players on the windfall.

He said: “What a great start to the weekend for our winners in Hemel Hempstead – a big congratulations to them all! I hope they get the chance to celebrate today and treat themselves to something special.”

People’s Postcode Lottery costs £10 a month to play and there are guaranteed winners every day. People play with their chosen postcode and are automatically entered into all draws.
