DENS calls on Dacorum residents to support YOUR Sleepout
and live on Freeview channel 276
A homeless charity in Dacorum is urging people to help keep their vital services running by making their Sleepout event happen, albeit in a different format.
DENS, like many charities, has been hit hard during the coronavirus pandemic with many of their planned fundraising events being cancelled.

Hide AdEvent Manager Nicky Maxwell-Braithwaite said: “Sadly, we cannot come together at a ‘live’ Sleepout this year, and we desperately now need your help to raise funds to support local vulnerable people.
"So for this year, we want you to take part in YOUR Sleepout; swapping your cosy bed for your sleeping bag.
“Whether you sleep in your garden, your office, or camp out in your living room, YOUR Sleepout is a great way to catch up with your friends, family and colleagues, whilst also supporting vulnerable people in your community and to experience first-hand, and highlight the issues, that homeless people face.
DENS houses, supports and empowers vulnerable single homeless people, and others in crisis, to transform their lives.

Hide AdSleepout Sponsor, Martin Fieldman, managing director of Abodebed Hemel said: “At Abodebed we know that it’s more than just providing a roof and a bed for the night.
"That’s why we’re proud to be supporting DENS who not only provide homeless people a place to stay, but also support them to move forward with their lives."
YOUR Sleepout is on Friday, November 13, at 9pm. Registration is just £5 to enter and is open to everybody.
