Arts Venue in Dacorum (AViD) is asking residents to complete their short survey to determine what the needs of the local community are in their campaign to bring a new arts venue to the borough.

The information from the survey will be used by AViD to demonstrate to local authorities, local MP and investors why there is a need in Dacorum. The survey can be made anonymously and will take less than 90 seconds to complete.

The trust recently appointed Luke Hinton as the new chairperson, after founding chairperson Mike Ridley stepped down to be a trustee on the board.

Luke, who lives in Dacorum and is the founder of Juicebox Live Promotions and East England Coordinator for Music Venue Trust, said: "We want to gather as much information from residents as possible to ensure that we are working towards what the community wants.

"It will help in the long run to help not only get an arts/music venue in Hemel, but to help promote and utilise the facilities that are already in the district."
