Michael Gair, from Hemel Hempstead, said he received a facial hair device instead of his console.
And after measuring the box that his Remington trimmer arrived in, he discovered that the Nintendo Switch would never have fit the box in the first place.

Hide AdMichael, taking to Facebook, launched a tirade against the online shopping giant: "Amazon do you think this is acceptable. Received my parcel which should have been a Nintendo switch but no, got a Remington trimmer.
"After being on the phone for 30 to 40 minutes was told will have to return then wait for you to look into. I guess on outcome will have to wait up to seven days for a refund.
"Was then told that mistakes do happen. Yes I agree but I’m the one heavily inconvenienced it’s not acceptable."
At least a dozen disappointed buyers have complained to the online retail behemoth over the warehouse error over the sales event.

Hide AdAmazon has now launched an investigation to find out how this could have happened.
They have promised to refund customers, some of whom are furious that they ordered during Black Friday but will now have to pay full price.
A spokesman for Amazon today said: "We're really sorry about that and are investigating exactly what's happened.
"We're reaching out to every customer who's had a problem and made us aware so we can put it right.
"Anyone who has had an issue with any order can contact our customer services team for help."
