12-year-old reunited with scooter after it was stolen in Boxmoor

A 12-year-old has been reunited with their scooter after it was stolen from outside of a shop in Boxmoor last week.

Following yesterday's appeal for information about the stolen scooter, it was handed to Hertfordshire Police yesterday afternoon (Tuesday).

It has now been returned to its rightful 12-year-old owner, who is very grateful to have it back.

In a post on the Dacorum Police Facebook page, it says: "What a happy ending!

"Thanks to all who shared our original post. Our investigation into the theft is continuing."
