Parking fines to deal with disruption during town regeneration works
The rules will affect those parking at pedestrian crossings and access points in Bridge Street, Waterhouse Street, Marlowes and the High Street. A Dacorum Borough Council spokesman said: “We’re cracking down on inconsiderate parking to prevent disruption during construction for improvement works.
“It is an offence to park across dropped kerbs and raised areas of the road. If you do park at these points you are liable for a penalty of £70.”
