Vox pop: Have you been watching I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here?

Reporter Victoria Bull asked Hemel Hempstead shoppers and workers what they think of TV’s jungle-themed craze.

Michael Epps, Adeyfield:

‘I’m not quite watching it, but I have a thing about Jimmy Bullard – he’s the most hilarious footballer I’ve ever seen on TV. He’s capable of making anyone laugh just by acting like a clown.’

Josh Chafer, Boxmoor:

‘I don’t watch it, I’m not a fan. I don’t feel sorry that Gemma Collins left – you don’t even have to leave your home to know all about it because it’s all over Facebook and social media.’

Sebastian James, Hemel Hempstead:

‘I dislike it severely – it’s just rubbish. It was funny for the first series but as with all of these shows like Big Brother it just tends to be everyone playing up to the cameras.’

Richard James, Hemel Hempstead:

‘It’s so artificial. You wouldn’t get me in there eating those things – the people that go on it are desperate for fame. They don’t have respect for themselves, it’s just to be in the limelight.’

Charles Waring, Tring:

‘I’m not at all into I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, I only really like watching sport on TV. I have never heard of the people who are in there – who are they?’
