Daniel Oliver, town centre:

Generally I think it is a good idea. It will make space for other opportunities at the site. I think it would be good for each of the functions as well.

Ian Crawford, Grovehill:

They are throwing a lot of money into the town at the moment. Something like the public service quarter is a good thing, but I don’t agree with what they’re doing on Marlowes.

Doug Roscoe, Boxmoor:

We lost the Pavilion years ago and nothing ever replaced it. But progress is a good thing – you don’t go backwards, you always look forward. Hemel is a nice town with lots being spent on it.

Robert Hosier, Woodhall Farm:

I think they could put the £30million for the Hemel Evolution to better use. I am getting over heart failure and have to go to Watford, because they spent money on our hospital then closed it.

Rose Lord, Berkhamsted:

I don’t think it’s a good idea to mix the police station with other services. It might put people off, and if you have to go to the police you might not want other people seeing you there.
