Vox Pop: What facilities would you like to see coming to Dacorum?

Sharon Boyall, DENS Foodbank manager:

‘I have really struggled to find nice restaurants or even pubs to take the children out for dinner, so more family-friendly menus would be good.’

Doreen Coburn, Adeyfield:

‘I have lived in Hemel almost all my life, it’s a lovely town but I really would like a Pavilion so we could get some decent shows and maybe bands.’

Diana Warner, Berkhamsted:

‘I would like to see improved sports facilities – everyone is obviously getting wider and wider, so it would be good to have plenty of sports facilities.’

Patrick Ellerby, Bennetts End:

‘I would like to see a new hospital or larger facilities for the hospital in Hemel Hempstead. They’re not as good since the hospital has gone, we need a new one but I don’t think we’ll get that.’

Mark Taylor, Dagnall:

‘I’d like to see some more facilities for teenagers in Hemel, to give them more activities to do in the evenings and weekends. Perhaps a bowling alley or some more cycle paths.’
