Roast beef.

I don’t have one!

Pottering – whether with the MGB car or in the garden.

What is the one thing you hate the most?

Admin work

If you knew the world was ending in 2015, what would you do differently?

I wouldn’t bother with the tax return!

If you could witness any event past, present or future, what would it be and why?

The Battle of El Alamein: – anawesome sight in the desert and the first victory in the First World War.

What was the last film you watched?

Zulu on TV at Christmas – a 1964 historical war film depicting the Battle of Rorke’s Drift between the British Army and the Zulus in 1879, during the Anglo-Zulu War, starring Michael Caine.

What’s the hardest thing you’ve ever done?

Maths O-level: I failed miserably.

What’s the best or worst gift you have ever given or received?

Tea towels for Christmas (Tim didn’t let us know whether this was his best or worst gift, or whether it was given or received, but we suspect the latter in both cases!)

As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

A doctor.

How would you like to be remembered?

As a priest who was always there for his people in time of need.

What is your favourite thing to do or place to visit in Dacorum?

I’m too new to have a favourite place yet!
