What is your favourite food?

I love all great food. My top 3 are: Thai, Middle Eastern and Italian.

What’s the most played song on your iPod?

I Put a Spell on You by Nina Simone (although the latest version by Annie Lennox is awesome).

‘It’s your life, live it!’ I believe we have been put on this planet to each make a difference even in the smallest of ways. We all have a purpose to fulfil and a legacy that lasts long after we are gone. Whoever, we are, whatever our background we each have one life and it’s important to do what inspires you and to inspire others to live their life too.

Favourite thing to do to relax?

An informal get together with family/friends over a late lunch and a glass of wine…

What is the one thing you hate the most?

There’s nothing I hate doing. You can find enjoyment in everything you do if you choose to.

If you could have 5 famous people for dinner – past or present – who would you pick and why?

1. Annie Lennox – for her music and philanthropy

What was the last film you watched?

Frozen – I have a four-year-old daughter – that’s the only film I’m ever allowed to watch!

If you knew the world was ending in 2015, what would you do differently?

Spend more time with my family by taking them around the world to see all the natural wonders…

What did you want to be when you grew up?

I went through many phases… spy, cartoonist, zoologist, archaeologist, actress, oil rig engineer.

If you could witness any event past, present or future, what would it be?

The construction of the pyramids of Giza – I have a fascination with ancient Egyptian civilisation.

What’s the hardest thing you’ve ever done?

Giving birth… But it was also one of the greatest things I have ever done.

The best/worst gift you’ve ever given/received?

The best gifts are the homemade ones by my children.

How would you like to be remembered?

As someone who helped others believe in themselves and believe that anything is possible…

Working at Hope for Children – it’s an awesome charity, with a phenomenal team and the most passionate group of supporters/volunteers that I have ever met.
