Mike Judge is commercial manager for Sainsbury’s Woodhall Farm and has helped co-ordinate many fundraising events for local charities and organisations.

Mike, 50, has worked for the supermarket chain for 34 years. He is married without children and has a DNA-identical twin... who’s taller than him. That’s a mean feat, as Mike himself is 6ft 5-and-a-bit inches.


What is your favourite food?

Any pasta meal.

What’s the most played song on your iPod?

Wonderful Life by Black. The song is from the singer’s 1987 album of the same name. Written by Black himself, the song was released twice as a single and was successful the second time, becoming a top ten hit in Switzerland, Germany, UK, France, Austria and Italy.

Favourite thing to do to relax?

Get out on my bike, or a bit of photography.

What was the last film you watched?

Ted – a 2012 American comedy film directed by Seth MacFarlane and starring Mark Wahlberg, about a foul-mouthed teddy bear who comes to life. A sequel is planned for 2015.

What is the one thing you hate the most?

Taking exams.

If you could have 5 famous people for dinner – past or present – who would you pick and why?

Bradley Wiggins, Tony Benn, Chris Packham, Rik Mayall and Peter Kay. Not sure why, but they are people that I like, or liked.

If you knew the world was ending in 2015, what would you do differently?

Spend more time with my family.

As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

A rally driver.

If you could witness any event past, present or future, what would it be and why?

I would choose the first manned mission to Mars. I would love to see the take off and watch history being made.

What’s the hardest thing you’ve ever done?

The 245km Paris-Roubaix cycle race, dubbed The Hell of The North in France.

What’s the best or worst gift you have ever given or received?

The best has to be the chance to ride The Olympic Velodrome last year for my 50th birthday.

How would you like to be remembered?

As someone who is always there to help.

What is your favourite thing to do or place to visit in Dacorum?

The bluebell woods in the Ashridge Estate.
