Julian Robinson is the manager of Tring Athletic Football Club, which played its first game last week. He’s married to Dawn and has two children.

What is your favourite food?

Italian – a Seafood linguine with a good glass of Prosecco.

What’s the most played song on your iPod?

Insomnia by Faithless.

Your favourite quote?

Favourite thing to do to relax?

Chelsea season ticket and watching my son play rugby league at London Skolars.

Thing you hate doing the most?

Christmas shopping and listening to excuses.

Invite five famous people for dinner, past or present - who and why?

Jose Mourhinio, Gennaro Contaldo Tv chef greedy italians etc, Tony McCoy national Hunt jockey, Clement Freud and Stephen Fry, good food and wine, All have strong opinions, great stories and are successful in their fields but all from different backgrounds, and all great company I would imagine.

Your Favourite place to go in Dacorum?

The Greyhound, Wiggingon.

If the world was ending in 2014, what would you do 
differently?

I certainly wouldn’t be working and would have spent my leisure time a little more wisely – more world travel, for sure.

If you could witness any event past, present or future, what would it be and why?

Would have loved to have to have witnessed the Second World War – a number of the battles, D-Day, Battle of the Bulge, Stalingrad, liberation of Auschwitz, the last days of Hitler etc. It would just be fascinating to observe and see it as it happened.

As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

Sadly, a footballer.

What was the last film you watched?

The Monuments Men at the cinema, and The Green Mile again on Sky.

What’s the hardest thing you’ve ever done?

To sell a business I had owned and built up, due to a bad debt caused by a customer going bankrupt, awful feeling

What’s the best/worst gift you’ve ever given/received?

No comment.

How would you like to be 
remembered?

I would like to be remembered for someone who gave people a chance, someone who helped and could be trusted, and finally someone who made people laugh and smile.
