Adam Hull is the sports editor at the Gazette and has worked at the paper for around four years after studying sports journalism at the University of Brighton. A big Chelsea fan, he enjoys nothing more than a trip to Stamford Bridge to watch the Blues play. Adam is getting married on Saturday, and will be heading off to Las Vegas, Mexico and New York on honeymoon before jetting back in time for Christmas.

What is your favourite food?

I love Italian food, and I love eggs. Therefore any dish - pizza or pasta - which combines the two is a winner for me!

What’s the most played song on your iPod?

Mr Brightside by the Killers

What is your Favourite thing to do to relax?

A couple of drinks at the pub or a game of FIFA.

Thing you hate doing the most?

Running. I’m a sporty guy but just don’t enjoy running - I need a ball or a goal!

If you could have 5 famous people for dinner past or present who and why?

Jose Mourinho, Usain Bolt, Nelson Mandela, Eminem and Emilia Clarke (one of the stars of Game of Thrones).
I think there would be some interesting conversations thrown up, but a good amount of humour too.

If you knew the world was ending in 2014, what would you do differently?

It’s a cliché, but try to just enjoy every second and not worry about petty things.

If you could witness any event past, present or future, what would it be and why?

England winning the football World Cup - I certainly can’t see it happening again any time soon!

As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

A professional footballer. Sadly I peaked at about 11 years old.

What was the last film you watched?

Captain Phillips – the true story of Captain Richard Phillips and the 2009 hijacking by Somali pirates of the US-flagged MV Maersk Alabama, the first American cargo ship to be hijacked in 200 years

What’s the hardest thing you’ve ever done?

My 100 words per minute shorthand exam!

What’s the best/worst gift you’ve ever given/received?

Definitely the most important one I’ve given is the engagement ring to my fiancée.

How would you like to be remembered?

As somebody who made the most of life and made people happy.

What is your favourite thing to do or place to visit in Dacorum?

I had a great time learning to ski at The Snow Centre and would definitely recommend it to anyone who is thinking of taking up skiing.
