One of the most exciting being the new play facilities which will run along the length of the area. These works will also see the new bus interchange which will free up space on Market Square for further regeneration works that will include new leisure facilities.

There is also a new building being planned for local public services, including Dacorum Borough Council, as well as a new college and significant new housing development in the town centre.

A wider plan for housing is set out in our Site Allocations document.

This sets out the aim for 10,750 new homes for the borough by 2031.

More information on Hemel Evolution can be found at www.dacorum.gov.uk/hemelevolution

Dacorum Borough Council and the Maylands Partnership would like to invite members of Dacorum’s business community to a networking breakfast event to hear all about the works.
