New pub to open in Hemel Hempstead as Horse bucks the trend.
Work to bring a new Hungry Horse to Hemel Hempstead is under way and residents are being asked to come up with a suitable name for the family friendly pub.
The pub will join Chiquito and Coast to Coast at the redeveloped Jarman Fields site and Hungry Horse is offering a £100 meal voucher to the person who suggests the winning name.
Marc McGuigan, business unit director for Hungry Horse, said: “We are very excited about this addition to Hungry Horse and to be bringing our fun, great value and family friendly pub to Hemel Hempstead.
“Construction has started and we are due to open in March 2015. We are inviting local residents to help the company choose a suitable locally-themed name for the new pub and restaurant.
“We want to ensure our name reflects the local area, which is why it should be chosen by its future customers.”
Suggestions should be emailed to Superhorse@Greeneking.co.uk with the reason it has been chosen. All entries must be received by Saturday January 31 when the successful name will be chosen.
If more than one person suggests the same winning name then a winner will be chosen at random.
Hungry Horse promises to bring ‘great value on its range of soft drinks, wines, lagers and real ales and on its famous food menu’.
The pub will include leather booth seating areas complete with their own TVs and a contemporary look throughout and something for everyone with a play area for children and Sky Sports and pool for adults.
The development will also create around 40 full and part-time jobs.
