A new fashion retailer launching nationally this summer will be opening a store in Hemel Hempstead.
Pep&Co will create 500 high street jobs across England, Wales and Scotland by the end of August and one of the first stores will be in Hemel Hempstead.
The budget family fashion chain, established by former Asda boss Andy Bond, is promising 12 new job roles in the town, which will be attractive to those juggling family lives.
Full and part-time contracts will be up for grabs, along with flexible working hours to help meet childcare needs. Mr Bond said: “Over the past few years, we Brits have been falling back in love with our high streets by shopping in smaller locations at stores offering real value.
“My ambition is that Pep&Co will be the first true town centre fashion value store, able to build on the example of new value food and general merchandise retailers.”
Stores will be launched from the beginning of July.
