The roll out starts on Monday (October 20) and runs until November 21.

Households will receive a new blue lidded bin for mixed recycling, a kerbside caddy for food waste and a free roll of 52 kitchen caddy liners. Residents will find an information pack attached to the blue lidded bin which fully explains the changes to the waste collection service.

The council says the service will give residents extra space to recycle even more items, it should result in a reduction in the amount of waste sent to landfill and increase the amount recycled by the borough to 60%.

Collection days may have changed and residents should check the calendar that comes with the new bins when they are delivered.

The new waste collection service called Recycle for Dacorum will begin week starting November 24.
