A man was taken to hospital after being injured outside Kings Langley Railway Station.
A spokesman for British Transport Police said: “We were called to Kings Langley at 6.36pm on Wednesday, December 9 to reports of an injured man outside the station.
“Colleagues from Hertfordshire Constabulary attended, and a 20-year-old man was taken to hospital where he was treated for head and shoulder injuries before being discharged.”
Following the incident there were claims on social media that there had been a stabbing but the police spokesman said this was not accurate.
Enquiries are ongoing.
