Man charged after thefts from vehicles

A man has been charged after a member of the public caught him rifling through a car's glove box.

Elton Bierman, 39, from Aldbury Gardens, Tring, has been charged with two counts of attempted theft from a motor vehicle.

Police were called to Manor Road in Tring at 10pm on Monday, June 13 where they found the resident had detained Bierman after he found him looking in his partner’s car.

Officers arrested Bierman and took him in to custody where he was charged with two crimes relating to thefts from vehicles.

Bierman has been remanded in custody pending a court appearance.
