Man, 21, arrested on suspicion of attempted murder

A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a shooting at a private party.

The 21-year-old, from Hemel Hempstead, is the seventh person to be arrested following a ‘large-scale disturbance’ in High Elms Lane, Abbots Langley, on Sunday evening (June 12).

Police were called to the scene around 9pm.

It is understood that one man was shot in the shoulder, another man suffered a head injury and a third man was stabbed in the abdomen during the private party.

They have now all been discharged from hospital.

On Monday (June 13), six men were arrested for affray before being bailed.

The 21-year-old, arrested today, remains in custody.
