Love is in the air at The Marlowes

On Saturday at the shopping centre, loved-up shoppers can have their snaps taken in the Love Bug ‘Tuk Tuk’, receiving free photos to take home. Children can also get creative at the free craft station, decorating heart shaped photo frames and ceramic tea light holders.

There’s also the chance to win a 200ml bottle of CK One perfume from The Perfume Shop by entering a Valentine’s competition on the Marlowes website, www.themarlowes.co.uk.

From Saturday shoppers can also view the designs submitted to the Marlowes’ ‘Love is...’ art competition, run alongside the Dacorum Art Partnership.

A total of nine primary schools in the area have taken part in the exhibition, which will run until February 22. The winner – chosen by local artist Kelly Pedlar, and Marlowes manager Vince Williams – will win a £250 voucher for their school as well as a prize. The winner will be announced on Monday, February 23.

Mr Williams said: “The response we have had to our ‘Love is...’ competition has been fantastic, with the children really getting involved and putting a lot of thought behind their designs.

“It will be great to have them on display throughout the half term week, as well as kicking the week off with some brilliant free activities.”
