Link Road motorcyclist still ‘serious but stable’ following crash


A motorcyclist who was hospitalised after a rush hour crash remains in a serious but stable condition.

The male biker, in his 30s, was airlifted to the Royal London Hospital following the collision just before 9am on Friday, June 12 after his blue Honda motorbike was in collision with a white Ford Fiesta Zetec.

It is believed the motorcyclist suffered serious injuries to his pelvis, leg, arm and head.

The motorcycle was travelling eastbound whilst the Ford was travelling westbound on the A4147 (Link Road) in Hemel Hempstead, between Piccotts End Road and Cambrian Way.

The driver of the Ford, a woman in her 20s, was taken to Watford General Hospital for treatment and later released.

Officers are still investigating the cause of the collision and are asking people with information to come forward.
