LED upgrade for Herts streelights
Streetlights throughout Herts are being upgraded on B, C and residential roads and footpaths from this month.
The work, which will be completed in August, will install LED bulbs on streetlights that are not ‘part-night’ lit.
Earlier this year more than 12,600 streetlights on all A-roads were upgraded.
LEDs use much less energy and also emit less CO2 than conventional lamps.
