Olympic medallist Max Whitlock has secured a new sponsor.
Property builder Weston Homes has announced it is backing Hemel Hempstead’s own winning gymnast.
The 22 year old, who has won 18 medals at Olympic, World, Commonwealth and European level, including two bronze medals at the London 2012 Olympic Games, trains in Essex, which is also where the headquarters of Weston Homes is based.
Max said: “I remember walking into a Weston Homes showroom aged 16, thinking that one day I would love to live somewhere like that.
“It’s great that Weston Homes supports local athletes and teams to achieve their dreams and I’m delighted that they have chosen to support me over the next few years.”
Chief executive of Weston Homes Bob Weston praised Max’s drive and ambition.
“We’re exciting to be supporting him in the next phase of his already exceptional career,” he said.
