For he’s a jolly good Fellowes

AN OSCAR-winning screenwriter showed his latest film in Berkhamsted on Sunday,

From Time To Time was written and directed by Julian Fellowes, pictured above, known for his work on several prominent films including The Young Victoria and Gosford Park, for which he won an Oscar.

The Rex cinema in Berkhamsted was full to the brim for the showing of the film, and the screenwriting sage hosted held a question and answer session after the screening.

Speaking to The Gazette, he said: “Berkhamsted is a great place to show it, and The Rex provides a whole experience.

“The town is incredibly lucky to have it, and I hope everyone enjoys the film.”

From Time To Time, about a boy who sees ghosts, is based on the second volume of the Green Knowes stories written by Lucy M. Boston.

Rex spokeswoman Jane Clucas said: “It was a fantastic night, we were really pleased.

“We had a packed audience and Julian was on top form. He loves The Rex.”
