Herts Police pay tribute to those killed in Paris killings
Officers from Hertfordshire Police have observed two minutes silence in memory of those who died in the shootings at the Charlie Hebdo offices in Paris earlier this week.
The officers joined colleagues across the country in paying tribute to the 12 people who died in the attacks in France, including two French police officers.
Chief constable Andy Bliss said: “Hertfordshire Constabulary along with other forces across the country has staged a moment of silence to remember those who have been killed as a result of the terrible events at Charlie Hebdo.
“We have sent through a photo of our event to colleagues in Paris as part of a national show of solidarity.
“Our thoughts remain with the families and friends of those who died at this dreadful time.”
