On Saturday (July 23), a manmade beach will arrive at the Riverside Shopping Centre and a large sandpit will be open from 10am to 4pm every day, complete with buckets, spades and chairs.

Until Saturday, September 3, there will also be free colouring, fun sheets, giant games and more for all the family every day.

Plus, every Monday in the school holidays there will be a themed arts and crafts workshop from 11am to 4pm, and free face painting every Thursday.

Themed story telling sessions will take place outside Waterstones on a Wednesday between 12 noon and 1pm.

There’s also the chance to win a £20 gift card to spend at Riverside each week with a fun treasure hunt across the centre.

If you love to sit then why not relax in our super sized deck chair and take part in their deckchair selfie competition?

Tickets to meet Chase and Marshall have been pre-allocated via a Facebook ballot, however there will be some availability on the day on a first come, first serve basis.

David Robinson, centre manager at Riverside Shopping Centre, said: “We’re delighted to be bringing a summer full of non-stop fun to Riverside this summer.

“There’s tons of fun for all the family to enjoy, and best of all it’s all free.
