An aspiring model from Hemel Hempstead has been selected as a grand finalist in the Top Model UK 2016 competition.
Herts County Council worker Yollanda Musa, aged 24, is asking people to support her and raise money for Children With Cancer UK, by casting their votes for her.
At just 5ft 2in tall, Yollanda dreams of becoming a petite model.
She has already won the Southern Region Princess title in the Miss Pride of Africa UK contest.
She has also featured in the TV reality show Born To Model UK, in which she reached the final stages despite being the shortest contender.
In addition to the awards which will be decided by a panel of judges at the Top Model Grand Finals weekend on April 1 and 2, there is also a Public Vote Award, which generates public support for each contestant and raises money for charity.
All of the profits from the Public Vote Award voting goes to Top Model’s chosen charity each year, which for 2016 is Children With Cancer UK.
In 2015, Top Model raised over £23,000 for the charity, and the contest has raised more than £65,000 in total.
People can support Yollanda by casting their votes at http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/YollandaMusa
As a rough guide, £1 gets you one vote, £4 gets you five votes, £8 gets you 15 votes, £15 gets you 30 votes and £20 gets you 40 votes.
Virgin Money Giving will pass your donations direct to Children With Cancer UK, and will claim Gift Aid on the charity’s behalf where the donor is eligible.
